It looks like Kollywood is on a war regarding the dates for Suriya . The actor has just wrapped up the shoot for director Hari's Singam 2 in South Africa and is expected to announce his next film. Two of the leading directors Gautham Vasudev Menon and Lingusamy claim to have roped in the actor as the lead in their films. Gautam Menon and Lingusamy are waiting for Suriya's dates. Suriya is now busy with Hari's Singam 2 in South Africa. He will be back in Chennai by Thursday and will have to take a final call and announce his next film. Thala Ajith is all set to join director Vishnuvardhan's team in Mumbai from Nov 2 nd  for the next schedule of the movie. Ajith will join Arya for some important scenes during this schedule. "I'm cast opposite Jiiva for the first time so that should be fun," said Trisha about the new movie adding that she was impressed with the script and the scope the role provides for her performance.

Gossipmongers are abuzz that top director Shankar’s next film will be a trilingual movie in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam versions with Universal Star Kamal Haasan, Young Rebel Star Prabhas and talented top star Mohanlal in the leads respectively. If so this would be the first time and an interesting combo of director Shankar and Prabhas. Also, Katrina Kaif is being roped in for female lead role in the movie in all the versions. Oscar Award winner A.R Rahman will score the tunes. The Tamil version of the movie has already been titled as 'Thalaivan Irukkindran' and Oskar Ravi Chandran will produce the movie but an official announcement is expected soon.

Suriya, who is busy with K.V.Anand’s Maatraan, has recently confirmed his next project, which is a 3D film directed by Venkat Prabhu. The director is keen to have Sonam Kapoor in the female lead.Venkat Prabhu, after Ajith’s Mankatha was success signed his next film with Suriya in the lead. An insider says, “Director is eager to rope in Sonam Kapoor for the female lead, as she suits the role better.” He further added, “Prabhu likes, her girl to next door looks and her action as well, any ways he has to discuss about it with Suriya.” K.E.Gnanavelraja is producing Suriya and Venkat Prabhu’s 3D flick under his Studio Green banner. This untitled film has cinematography by Sakthi Saravanan and music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
